Christmas Pics

We had so much fun for Christmas. My mom and dad came up to spend it w/us and it was so much fun having them here. Easton was way more fun this year! He loved the whole idea of opening presents and once he would open one he would be so excited about it that he'd forget about opening any others. Once they all were openend and set up, he would just go from one thing to the next over and over. He was in heaven!

On Christmas Eve we let him open his present from Grandpa and Grandma Dean.

My mom made him this blanket and he absoluetly LOVES it! He asks for it each time we put him down for a nap or bedtime.

Easton admiring one of his presents on Christmas morning.

He was even excited about his coloring book.

Yup, he's still in love w/cars!

My dad and Jonny were enjoying Easton's presents as much as he was.

Jonny's present from me. It's a bike helmet to go w/his new bike (that he got himself. haha). Doesn't it look more like a motorcycle helmet?? He thinks he hardcore.

Easton trying out Jonny's helmet. He kinda thought all the presents were for him.

This is the present from my aunt and uncle. It's Mack and McQeen. He has also asked to take this to bed w/him pretty much each time we've put him down. Thanks, Uncle Jimmie and Aunt Cheryl!

He LOVES it!

Easton woke up w/some of the best bed hair I've ever seen! I loved it!

Easton w/his cousin Conner. My mom made him this dinosaur blanket, too.

Here's a bunch of pics of what we've been up to lately.

We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving this year and the boys and Brit (the rest of us are pregnant) all went repelling. Here is a pic of Jonny going down the rock.

Gary and Easton on the way back to Boise.

Last Saturday we were in the mall and decided to see if Easton would sit on Santa's lap. He wouldn't.

Jonny finished cleaning up the last of the leaves in our backyard and Easton decided to help him out.

Gary putting up the lights on our house.

Monday night we finally put up our Christmas tree!! Easton seriously loved it! His "helping" was actually not really any help, but he had a lot of fun.

Jonny helping Easton put the ornaments up.

Our fam w/the tree all put up. As you can tell, I was SUPER tired by the time we were done. I'm gonna blame the pregnancy.

Idaho Steelheads Game

We haven't really been doing a lot and so I haven't really had anything to post in a while, but Saturday Jonny got us some hockey tickets. We went w/Gary and Tara and one of Jonny's friend from work and his wife. It was a lot fun to go out and have a date night. I was disappointed that the only fight that broke out was a pretty pathetic one. I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping for something at least somewhat aggressive, but oh well. We still had a good time.

In this pic I was trying to make it so my head didn't look huge next to Jonny's. This angle is never flattering and my trying to compensate didn't really help. haha

Pumkins!

The day before Halloween we went over to some friends' house to do some pumkin carving (they are actually some of our best friends' parents/family). The two days before Halloween they buy TONS of pumkins and have lots of people over to help them carve and then put them in their yard for Halloween. This year they had 150! It's so cool to see them when they're all done.

We didn't carve any of these ones, but I thought they were cute...and so did Easton.

Jonny decided to do the BSU bronco for his pumkin. He got really into it! He had a picture of the logo and just drew it on from looking at it. It turned out really well.

Easton didn't love carving the pumkins, but he did like it when he got to "help" daddy. Daddy did not like it as much.

Here are our pumkins! Mine is obviously the gay spider. Did not turn out like the vision I had in my head, but it was still fun. Jonny's turned out really cool, though.

Here's their house with all the pumkins out and lit. This pic isn't the best, but you can kind of get the idea. So fun!

Halloween '08

I feel like Halloween went on for a week this year! Easton got to wear his costume 4times (thanks Mandy for letting me borrow it and thanks Mom for making it!). Between parties, the zoo, trunk or treat, and actual Halloween we definitely got into the Halloween spirit. Luckily, Easton loved his costume and had no problems keeping it on. Trick or treating was a lot of fun this year because Easton actually got the concept and had tons of fun collecting candy.

Us before we headed out to Warm Springs to go trick or treating. Notice how we bundled up...I did not realize it was going to be SO warm!

Easton did really well trick or treating and wanted to walk (and run) all by himself...most of the time.

After a while, he did get tired, though and had to have daddy, "hold you" as he says.

Halloween Party and Boo at the Zoo

This weekend we had a lot of Halloween fun. Friday night some friends had a costume party so we decided to go as characters from the Wizard of Oz. My mom made Easton's lion costume and I made Jonny's and mine.

Here's Easton in his lion costume.

And here's all of us.

At the party, the couples all competed against each other to see who could get the most gummy worms out of the whipped cream. Here you can see Jonny cheating by biting the pan and moving it to where I couldn't reach...and Easton watching intensely.

They had a pinata for the kids. Here's Easton's attempt to break it.

Saturday we went to Boo at the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. This is us at the zoo.

Jonny and Easton ready to go see the real lions.

New Hat

This weekend my parents were in town. My mom bought Easton a cute little hat. The whole time she was here, he pretty much refused to wear it for more than a couple seconds. Well this morning I guess he decided it is good enough for him. He came up to me with a huge grin on his face with it on and seemed pretty proud of himself. He's been strutting around in it all morning.

Well, we have some exciting news! We are going to have another baby!! The baby is due April 25th, which means I'm only 10 weeks along. So just for fun, I went to a website that morphs your pics together to show what your kids are supposed to look like. First, I did pics of Jonny and me now and the result is this:

Pretty scary, huh?? I think Easton got lucky! But then I used some pics from when we were little and this is what showed up:

Not quite as scary. I'm hoping the next one looks more like Easton, though!

Our Little Cross-dresser

So maybe Easton's been spending a little too much time around me. First, he wanted his toenails painted and then today he decided to strut around in my high heels. Maybe Jonny and him need to take a little Guys' Night out.

Playing at the Park

Last week Jonny and I took Easton to a little park near our house. It was one more for bigger kids, but he still LOVED it! Jonny helped him so he could play on all the big kid toys. Here's some pics of all the fun!
