Idaho Steelheads Game

We haven't really been doing a lot and so I haven't really had anything to post in a while, but Saturday Jonny got us some hockey tickets. We went w/Gary and Tara and one of Jonny's friend from work and his wife. It was a lot fun to go out and have a date night. I was disappointed that the only fight that broke out was a pretty pathetic one. I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping for something at least somewhat aggressive, but oh well. We still had a good time.

In this pic I was trying to make it so my head didn't look huge next to Jonny's. This angle is never flattering and my trying to compensate didn't really help. haha

Pumkins!

The day before Halloween we went over to some friends' house to do some pumkin carving (they are actually some of our best friends' parents/family). The two days before Halloween they buy TONS of pumkins and have lots of people over to help them carve and then put them in their yard for Halloween. This year they had 150! It's so cool to see them when they're all done.

We didn't carve any of these ones, but I thought they were cute...and so did Easton.

Jonny decided to do the BSU bronco for his pumkin. He got really into it! He had a picture of the logo and just drew it on from looking at it. It turned out really well.

Easton didn't love carving the pumkins, but he did like it when he got to "help" daddy. Daddy did not like it as much.

Here are our pumkins! Mine is obviously the gay spider. Did not turn out like the vision I had in my head, but it was still fun. Jonny's turned out really cool, though.

Here's their house with all the pumkins out and lit. This pic isn't the best, but you can kind of get the idea. So fun!

Halloween '08

I feel like Halloween went on for a week this year! Easton got to wear his costume 4times (thanks Mandy for letting me borrow it and thanks Mom for making it!). Between parties, the zoo, trunk or treat, and actual Halloween we definitely got into the Halloween spirit. Luckily, Easton loved his costume and had no problems keeping it on. Trick or treating was a lot of fun this year because Easton actually got the concept and had tons of fun collecting candy.

Us before we headed out to Warm Springs to go trick or treating. Notice how we bundled up...I did not realize it was going to be SO warm!

Easton did really well trick or treating and wanted to walk (and run) all by himself...most of the time.

After a while, he did get tired, though and had to have daddy, "hold you" as he says.
