backtracking a bit to VEGAS

I don't know how I forgot to blog about our trip to Vegas!! It's pretty much the most exciting thing we've done as a family. It was our first "real" fam vacation. It was so much fun! We went w/my bro Preston's fam and my mom even got to come which was so so fun because Easton and Donovan ADORE their cousin Conner and Grandma and of course the rest of the fam. But it was so fun to have a buddy for Easton. Here are some pics! There's a ton.

The boys being entertained why we shopped the outlet malls.

Seriously, look how much Easton loves Conner.

At the Shark Reef w/the golden crocodile.

Conner had a Flat Stanley he took pics with and Easton had to get in on it.

It seriously took me a while to get up the courage to touch these sting ray things. I'm a wuss.

D however would've dove in and gone swimming with them if they had let him.

In front of the octopus.

The four kiddos.

At the M&M factory.

Easton was ready to fight when the pirate handed him the sword. I think Jack Sparrow was a little scared.

At the Dolphin Habitat/Big Cat Reserve. Probably my fav of the week.

With my boys.

You can't see it, but there's a white lion right behind Easton. Jonny told Easton to make his "Grr Face". This is it. :)

We had a pool at our resort and it had a little beachy area that the boys LOVED! Here is easton in his speedo that I adore.

Baby D had so much fun. He kept throwing the ball and trying to kick it. I loved watching them play in the pool.

The boys crashed SO hard every night.

Had to get some pics in front of the Vegas sign.

Hippoty Hop 2011!

We had a fun little Easter this year. It was a very "private" event since D was still sick. Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs and then while we were at church on Sunday the Easter bunny came and hid eggs and left goodies. Super fun!

Easton got really into dying eggs this year! He had tons of fun decorating them w/stickers.

D and Jonny helped for a bit but (as mentioned before) D was still sick. He went up to Jonny and snuggled right in and said "nie-nie". (night night aka, good night).

This was after the Easter bunny visited us. D found a few eggs and opened them and saw that they were full of candy and that was that for him. He spend the rest of the time eating the ones he already opened.

Easton however had a blast finding all the eggs. Here he is showing off his presents the Easter bunny left.

Hope ya'll had a great Easter, too!!

Baby D is 2!!

My Baby D isn't a baby anymore. :( I'll probably call him Baby D for life, though. Sorry kid. This is how it's gonna be. Sadly he didn't have the best birthday ever. He was up most the night with a fever so I took him in to the doctor and found out that he has croup and he has pnuemonia coming on. So sad. But we still tried to make the best of it and threw him a little party.

This is the present Easton got him. He wrapped it himself.

Showing off the wrapped present. Don't mind the bunny ears. He made them in preschool and didn't take them off all day. He even tried to take them to bed.

Opening presents.

Easton got him a Sponge Bob DVD. It was more for himself that Baby D, but he'll enjoy it too.

We got him these cool books. Donovan loves them. Look at poor Easton, though. He really wanted a turn and was trying his hardest to be patient. Patience isn't his strongest point.

D was a little upset he was getting a cupcake and not a donut.

He seriously was upset that it wasn't a donut. I had to find the closest thing we had to one. A ding dong. It fooled him.

And Easton was happy to finish off D's cupcake.

a very happy unbirthday!

Jonny's mom and bro and sis were in town a week ago and they wanted to throw the boys an unbirthday party since they don't get to be around for many actual birthdays. So we went and go some Sponge Bob decorations and set them up while Jonny had the boys upstairs distracting them so that they could come down to a surprise. They LOVED it!!! It was so fun to see them get so excited!
