Baby D is 2!!

My Baby D isn't a baby anymore. :( I'll probably call him Baby D for life, though. Sorry kid. This is how it's gonna be. Sadly he didn't have the best birthday ever. He was up most the night with a fever so I took him in to the doctor and found out that he has croup and he has pnuemonia coming on. So sad. But we still tried to make the best of it and threw him a little party.

This is the present Easton got him. He wrapped it himself.

Showing off the wrapped present. Don't mind the bunny ears. He made them in preschool and didn't take them off all day. He even tried to take them to bed.

Opening presents.

Easton got him a Sponge Bob DVD. It was more for himself that Baby D, but he'll enjoy it too.

We got him these cool books. Donovan loves them. Look at poor Easton, though. He really wanted a turn and was trying his hardest to be patient. Patience isn't his strongest point.

D was a little upset he was getting a cupcake and not a donut.

He seriously was upset that it wasn't a donut. I had to find the closest thing we had to one. A ding dong. It fooled him.

And Easton was happy to finish off D's cupcake.

a very happy unbirthday!

Jonny's mom and bro and sis were in town a week ago and they wanted to throw the boys an unbirthday party since they don't get to be around for many actual birthdays. So we went and go some Sponge Bob decorations and set them up while Jonny had the boys upstairs distracting them so that they could come down to a surprise. They LOVED it!!! It was so fun to see them get so excited!

Hola!

It's been a while...which seems to be a common theme among my blog posts. I'll try to do better. With that said, I really want to upload some new pics and {hopefully} get around to making a new blog header. If you'll look up, you'll notice that ours still doesn't even include Baby D. He's almost 2. I'm all sorts of awesome.

But really not a whole lot has been going on here. We're just trying to survive this Wyoming winter, which has been not so fun. We did hear that we will be moving to McCall in the next 6 months or so which is both exciting and scary. I'm super excited to be moving back to Idaho. But it's also scary cause we have to worry about selling our house now. I do have to take a sec to give a little shout out to Jonny. He's kind of fantastic. He's only been working here for about 6 months and has already been promoted! I'm so so proud of him and grateful beyond words to have him as my hubs and the daddy to my babies!

Well now for the pics! Mostly random ones I liked that we've taken in the last few months.

{We cannot remember where this was taken cause we don't recognize that headboard, but I thought it was precious nonetheless.}

{For New Year's Eve this year we played karaoke for hours! Thanks Pres and Mandy!}

{Our little snuggle bugs!}

{We went and visited Jonny's bro's fam in January and they took Easton out shooting. He loved it!}

{Stud}

{One of the boys' fav things to do is take a bath.}

{And this last Sunday we decided to take a drive and go see what's around this area...which was kinda disappointing cause there wasn't much. But we did go on some back roads and got to take the boys mudding for their first time. They LOVED it! As did I. It was the first time I've been since high school. I think I will def always be a small town girl at heart.}

Halloween 2010

Last night was our ward trunk or treat. Jonny thought it'd be fun to decorate his truck, so we carved a few pumpkins and made a spooky pumpkin patch. When we showed up to the party, hardly anyone decorated their trunks so we impressed a lot of people.

Can you guess which ones Jonny did and which ones I did?? I was more about getting them done fast whereas Jonny wanted his to actually look good.

This is Easton's preschool teacher Miss Lilly.

My cute little animals.

I was pretty excited that Easton's favorite was the lightning bolt that I made. Only because it slightly resembles both Lightning McQeen and Bolt.

SOO cute!

Donovan just kept hugging Easton like this for like 5 minutes. And Easton kept saying, "I love you, too Zaboomafoo."

Lately

Nothing too exciting has been going on here, but I thought I'd update w/some pics...which are on a backwards timeline. I forget how to use blogger sometimes.

When we moved into our house, there was a little garden and we had one little pumpkin growing. Jonny picked it about a week ago because it's so cold here, but every day since then Easton's been begging to carve it. Last night we finally did!

Easton drawing the face on.

Baby D pulling out the nasties.

He concentrated sooo hard on getting it done.

Easton's favorite part were all the seeds.

Donovan eating it.

For some reason, I thought it'd be nice to move our tv into our bedroom so that the main floor would stay cleaner. It does, but now our room's always a disaster. I'll take it I guess. Here are my boys watching football.

Thug nasties.

Easton was sharing the chair.

My parents came to visit a few weekends ago! The boys loved having their grandma and grandpa here!

The townhouse connected to us is vacant and we heard a bunch of alarms going off so we called the firemen to come check it out. Easton and Donovan loved it...

...moreso Easton.

These boys...gotta love 'em!

The college here has a cool dinosaur display and some replicas of other stuff. Kinda neat. Here's Jonny making any situation an inappropriate one. Haha.

and the t-rex. easton's fav!

Preschool. What What!

I don't know if anyone even visits this blog anymore since it's been a few months since I posted. BUT we have had tons going on, which I'm going to have to blog about later because this post is all about EASTON! He started preschool last week! It makes me feel old. But he's adorable when he goes and he loves it.

First: Showing off his new transformers backpack that is just like his cousin, Conner's. [I wanted to get pics of him, but he wouldn't let me til we got one of his backpack.]
Second: Easton chose this location for his "first day of school pic". In the garage amongst all the crap we were refinishing for the house. Good choice, I'd say.
Third: In front of the preschool. He just looks so old to me in this pic.
Fourth: Walking up to the door. And now he looks tiny w/that huge backpack on!

Easton behind the camera...

Easton's just recently decided that he's an expert on taking pics so I've been letting take over the camera a bit. Here's a few of his first ones.

I think this ones kinda cool. His self-portrait.

And a pic of his baby brother.
